About Us

For more than 20 years, MetroCare of Springfield has been proudly serving the people of Massachusetts. We specialize in programs that support older adults and individuals who need daily assistance, including:

  • Adult Family Care & Group Adult Family Care – safe, supportive home environments with caring staff.

  • PCA (Personal Care Attendant) Services – help at home with everyday needs like bathing, meals, and mobility.

  • Adult Day Health Centers – welcoming places where seniors and those 18+ with mental and physical disabilities can enjoy activities, meals, medical support, and friendship during the day.

At MetroCare, our mission is simple: to care for each person with compassion, dignity, and respect. We understand that every individual has unique needs, and our team is here to create personalized support that helps people feel comfortable, safe, and part of a community.

Whether you are a senior looking for daily companionship, a family member seeking peace of mind, or a caregiver needing extra support, MetroCare is here for you.

MetroCare is more than a health service provider

MetroCare is more than a health service provider—we are a community of professionals dedicated to improving lives across Massachusetts. From in-home support to our adult day health centers, we take pride in offering a full range of services that adapt to the changing needs of those we serve. What sets MetroCare apart is our commitment to treating every individual like family. We don’t just provide services—we build relationships, listen to personal needs, and create plans that honor the dignity and independence of every person. Beyond medical and daily care, we also encourage community involvement, social engagement, and wellness activities that help people live fuller, happier lives. With decades of experience and a focus on continuous growth, MetroCare remains dedicated to being a source of strength, support, and compassion for the people of Massachusetts today and for generations to come.

  • At our centers, your loved one will find more than just care—they’ll find community. Each day is filled with activities to keep the mind and body active, from games and crafts to exercise and music. We provide balanced meals, a safe environment, and caring staff who treat everyone like family. Most importantly, it’s a place where people can laugh, connect, and enjoy their day, while you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands.

  • Our AFC program is all about helping people stay in the place they feel most comfortable—home. If someone you love needs daily support because of health or mobility challenges, a caregiver (often a family member or close friend) can receive training and financial support from us to provide that care. It’s a way to make sure your loved one gets the help they need while staying surrounded by the people and routines they know best.

  • GAFC is perfect for individuals who live in their own apartment or an assisted living community but still need a little extra help with daily tasks. Our caring staff visits regularly to assist with things like meals, bathing, or getting dressed, so each person can continue living as independently as possible. It’s support that fits right into their everyday life, with the reassurance that someone is always there to help.
